A cross to bear...
"...He humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."
Obedience...
Must I obey without question? Must I surrender without understanding 'why', Lord? Must I suffer... and count it all joy?
Obey, Lord? Even unto death? This cross... I did not ask for it. I did not take it upon myself to bear.
Is it You, Lord? Have you placed it there?
"And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be my disciple"
Whoever does not...cannot?
"If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up the cross, and follow me."
How long, Lord?
"He who endures to the end shall be saved"

This weekend, three of my siblings and I surprise-visited a friend on his graduation in CO. We had a lot of fun together, as always. On Monday, we took a trip out to El Dorado Canyon. The guys went rock clmbing, while Rachel and I enjoyed ourselves down by the river. In the end, we decided to do some rock scrambling ourselves. ;)
